In
one evening enjoy the editorial appearing in the September 21, 1897,
edition of The (New York) Sun come to life in this exciting play. Based
on the editorial, which included the famous reply “Yes, Virginia, there
is a Santa Claus”, it has become part of popular Christmas folklore all
over the world. When young Virginia questioned, “Is there a Santa
Claus”; her father suggested asking the New York Sun assuring her that
“If you see it in The Sun, it’s so!”
