2017 Summer Social

Ever wanted to get involved with theatre, but aren't quite comfortable being on stage? Want to enjoy some summer treats while viewing peeks at the upcoming season? Then join us for our Summer Social!

Entertainment, Inc! is holding a Summer Social - your chance to see sneak previews for it's upcoming 2017 - 2018 season on Wednesday, August 9 at 6 p.m. in the basement of the Old Armory. The free event is open to the public and will include an opportunity for guests to meet and talk with members of the Inc! Board of Directors and staff and directors about the exciting lineup of plays and musicals. You also have the opportunity to learn more about getting involved backstage at the theatre through exploring workshops. B. Michael Quale, our interim Artistic Director for Entertainment, Inc!, will also be on hand to talk about the new season. As a special offer, season tickets will be available at a discount price.

The upcoming season was carefully hand-picked by the board and Quale. The list includes a few old favorites including Fiddler on the Roof, Miracle on 34th Street and Play On. They have also selected a never-before-performed-in-Williston show - The 2th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Audition dates for the shows have been announced and can be seen on the Auditions page. However, acting isn't the only way to be a part of this family.

Locals seeking to get involved with the theatre community but don’t wish to go on stage may find satisfaction in volunteering their time. Inc! invites all members of our community to get involved with our shows! We always need extra hands, so even if acting is not your thing, you may enjoy running lights, or helping to build sets or costumes. Workshops will be available at the Summer Social so you can explore all areas of helping out backstage.

Information on volunteering, all the productions, and the full schedule for the 2017 - 2018 season, along with discount tickets will be available at the Summer Social. Entertainment, Inc! welcomes volunteers with open arms to help keep things running smoothly. No experience is necessary - now's the time to hop on board with Inc!
